Equipment for rental

Our rates are divided into two areas:

• Performance fee which covers the cost of the equipment being rented and services provided.
• Expenses which cover such items as transportation, accommodation, meals, etc.

Pricing for local parties with the use of DPSS Air-cooled lasers, which are portable and requires no van for traveling. Most first time bookings receive a discount on there first laser show with Dream Beamz, if we don’t have to do any artistic work to get your logos into our computerized laser system.

Our Prices are half of our competitors and we do not plan to change this. Sometimes we have deal’s for local clubs or promoters looking to do something the last minute. In the event of us having, no laser bookings out of town. Email or call for your pricing quote on the larger gear available for your date. Our current payment options are money order, business check, electronic wire or pay pal for quick payment methods. We can support the lasers for any size party up to 40K people in one area. That would mean the use of multiple lasers and/or the output of high output for beam work.

For the use of Aircooled lasers one to multiple mini projectors.

For the use of one water-cooled laser, argons, krypton, etc.

Depending on venue size, up to 1200 people. “Indoor only”

OTHER EXPENSE

·        The regular rates shown here apply to non-holiday bookings. Premiums may apply for holiday shows such as New Years Eve, Valentines, Easter, July 4^th, Halloween, etc. Please inquire for details.

·        Extra expenses will apply if we do custom programming for the laser show graphics, onsite or before the date of the program for multicolored or detailed graphics.

TRANSPORTATION

By Land:

For shows that we are driving to and transporting all of the equipment in our van, transportation charges are as follows.

• With in 100 miles of charlotte, NC – No charge
• More than 100 miles from Charlotte, NC - $25.00 / 100 miles is measured in one direction. Rates may be subject to change in the event of drastic fuel prices, but are never changed once an agreement has been reached.
• Example rate for some cities would be:
  • Atlanta “300 miles X $25 / 100 miles = $75.00”
  • Jacksonville “450 miles X $25 / 100 miles = $112.50”
  • Miami “700 miles X $25 / 100 miles = $175.00”

By Air:

For shows that we are flying to, we charge for the plane ticket at cost. We shop around to find the best deals using, “expedia.com, orbitz.com and kayak.com”.

When flying you may be subject to extra baggage fee’s due to the size and weight of the laser systems we are bringing to your event. The system is packed into three cases “Projector / laser, computerized controller / docking station, and book bag with static / person effects”. We choose the date to arrive depends on the size of the event, to give us enough time for setup of a flawless laser show.

ACCOMMODATION

We will require accommodation for any shows that involve more than a total of 8 hours of driving and 8 hours on site at the venue in one 24 hour day; or for any shows where we fly to the event.

Accommodation need to be a 5 star hotel, although we are always happy to stay in such hotels that are less. It can be a budge priced hotel / motel as long as it is clean and quiet as our main need is for sleeping and showering. If possible, the accommodations should be located within a short ride of the show venue. You are responsible for arranging the hotel / motel in advance and for paying the hotel / motel directly unless other arrangements are made in advance or paid up front to Dream Beamz.

STAGING

General:

For the best results, the laser system should be set-up immediately behind the DJ where a low stage is in use, or in front of the DJ table when a high stage is in use. In either case, we must arrange the laser, so that static beams will be at lease 3 meters about the dance floor to comply with safety regulations. We have bounce mirrors and mirror trees to add the static effect to any show.

In some cases, we may be able to “fly” the laser system from the lighting truss if a proper trussing system is provided. We can consult with your sound and light provider in advance to arrange this. Safety regulations require that the laserist be able to see the beam paths through the venue at all times. Typically we operate the system from the side of the stage next to the DJ. If the stage is not large enough to accommodate the laser control position, then a separate riser or staging must be provided such that we can see over the heads of the audience while standing on the stage / riser in order to comply with safety regulations. We don’t supply trussing due to the cost of transportation and to keep the cost of Dream Beamz at a less expense to you, but is need so we can keep the lasers from crowd scanning.
